Lavesy Lager — the app for your phone

Scan, book and look things up right at the shelf. No app store, set up in two minutes.

Alongside the web interface at your desk, Lavesy Lager comes as its own app for the phone. It is built for warehouse work: big targets, usable with one hand, camera scanning instead of typing. Sign in with your existing Lavesy account — roles and permissions apply unchanged.

The app runs at

What the app does

Scan with the camera

Capture QR codes and barcodes with the phone camera — or with a Bluetooth handheld scanner.

Look up stock

See straight away at the shelf what sits where and how much of it is left.

Book without detours

Transfers, corrections, counts and quick issues straight from the device.

Record goods receipts

Create, check and book deliveries while the pallet is still in front of you.

Work off delivery orders

See open orders and pick them line by line.

Notifications

Optionally get a nudge as soon as a new order or a reorder comes up.

Add it to your home screen

The app is not installed through an app store — you add it to the home screen straight from the browser. After that it starts like any other app: full screen, no address bar.

iPhone & iPad

Most reliable in Safari. Chrome, Firefox and Edge on iPhone offer "Add to Home Screen" too — their share button just sits somewhere else.

  1. 1Open Safari and go to the address of the app.
  2. 2Tap the share icon in the bottom bar (square with an arrow pointing up).
  3. 3Scroll down the list and choose "Add to Home Screen".
  4. 4Confirm with "Add" in the top right — the Lavesy icon now sits on your home screen.

On iPhone and iPad, push notifications only work through the app installed this way, never from an ordinary Safari tab.

Android

Most reliable in Chrome; Edge and Samsung Internet work just as well.

  1. 1Open Chrome and go to the address of the app.
  2. 2If a prompt saying "Install app" appears at the bottom, one tap is all it takes.
  3. 3Otherwise open the three-dot menu in the top right and choose "Install app" or "Add to Home screen".
  4. 4Confirm — Lavesy shows up in your app drawer like an installed app.

On the first scan Android asks for camera permission. Without it the scanner stays black.

When something does not work

Sign-in fails

The same credentials as on lavesy.de apply. New colleagues have to be invited first under Administration → Users.

The camera stays black

Allow camera access for the site in your browser settings. On iOS also check that Safari has camera access at all.

No install prompt

The prompt appears only once per device and never in private mode. You can always start the installation by hand from the browser menu.

The warehouse app is part of every Lavesy account and costs nothing extra.
